Who you are

Exporters and agricultural supply chains

“My European market depends on proof I do not have.”

Your mandate

What you answer for

Exporters, traders, cooperatives, agribusinesses

You exist to move agricultural production from thousands of plots to a buyer who must, in turn, answer for what it places on its market. Your value lies in the reliability of that link. Compliance is therefore not a regulatory topic for you: it is the survival condition of the link itself.

You export to Europe, or you supply someone who does. Compliance is not an abstract regulatory topic for you: it is the condition of access to your market, and it has a date. You decide quickly, without a procurement procedure, and you judge a provider on one criterion — will they meet the deadline.

What your organisation is made of

  • Exporters and traders of cocoa, coffee, rubber, palm oil, cotton and timber
  • Agribusinesses and agricultural concessions
  • Primary cooperatives and second-tier unions
  • European chocolate makers, roasters and processors subject to the EUDR

Your constraints

How your decision is actually made

This is what most providers ignore, and it is what makes assignments fail.

Who decides

A compliance, sustainability or procurement manager. A private company decision: no tendering, no no-objection.

Where the money comes from

A compliance budget already opened, or a requirement passed down by your buyer, who bears part of the cost.

What timetable

Two to eight weeks. The shortest of all our counterparts — and the only one whose deadline is set by legislation rather than by negotiation.

Our role

What ODT does for you

  • We survey the actual boundaries of your plots with field teams, and clean the database of every topological error.
  • We audit your polygons against satellite archives since 2020 and produce files in the format the European system expects.
  • We independently check the quality of databases collected by third parties — a need created by the emergence of collective platforms.
  • We deploy the platform that links producers, transactions and compliance, and that generates your export reports.
  • We estimate your harvest volumes by production basin ahead of the season.

What we will not do

  • We will not sell you mass polygon mapping where it has already been done with public funding.
  • We do not issue certificates of convenience: an audit that cannot conclude says so.
  • We do not commit to a deadline that the agricultural calendar makes impossible to meet.

Published because it is binding on us: see what we do not do.

Start with a review of your existing database

We examine what you already have — coverage, topological quality, format — and tell you what is genuinely missing to file the declaration. Often less than you have been told.
