Multilateral and bilateral donors require environmental and social safeguards from the design stage. This page states the four families of commitments ODT applies to every programme, and says honestly where their formalisation stands.

- Traceability of decisions and disbursements (verified milestones).
- Published accountability: indicators and reviews accessible to stakeholders.
